RougeRoids

For my first assignment in "Introduction to Gameplay Programming" for my Game Development Course I was given instructions to recreate a classic game and give it a twist. I chose the original Asteroids (1980) and made it a Rougelike (Very original).

This was the first game I have ever made and was my first attempt at making art so there may be some kinks and weird interactions although these should be very few and far between. There are some minor UI aspects that are unfinished (hopefully you dont notice) and the Instructions may not be the most clear but i hope you still enjoy and have fun! :) 

Fight through waves of Aliens and encounter each of the 5 Unique aliens each with special behaviours. Discover each of the different 23 upgrades in the shop and get the highest score!

(There also may be a button you can press to get more lives if you're struggling)
